Gentle Hatha - (Tuesdays 7-8.15pm) A gentle yoga practice, combining centering, stretching and balancing the needs of the body. This class is excellent for beginners, as well as those looking to find some introspective mind-body space. Exertion level: Gentle. Chair Yoga for Chronic Pain - (Thursdays 9.15-10.15am, 5 week sessions) This
class is great for people with chronic pain and those recovering from
injury or surgery. From the comfort and stability of a
chair, we explore range of motion, and learn to re-wire the brain to
support greater ease in movement. We will explore breath, mindfulness
and relaxation exercises to coax the nervous system to support your
goals in healing and movement. Exertion level: Very gentle, please call

Yin/Yang Yoga - (Tuesdays 9.15 - 10.30am, Thursdays 7-8.30pm) This
practice includes a combination of deep, contemplative Yin postures,
and gradually move into the Yang, or more active, strong postures.
You'll enjoy the combination of grounding, and moving your yoga
practice to the next level, regardless of where you start. Exertion
level: Moderate.
Yoga for Chronic Pain - (Tuesdays at Belmont Yoga - 11.30 - 12.45, 5 week sessions, $60/session, beginning 9/08/09) We use breath techniques, adapted yoga postures, mindfulness, relaxation and emotional tools. Individualized attention aides healing strategies to meet your needs. Especially good for conditions such as: fibromyalgia, arthritis, back trauma and plantar fascitis. Absolutely no yoga or exercise experience necessary. Come find what ease lies in store for your body and mind. Exertion level: Very gentle.
