Yoga for Chronic Pain
Yoga for Chronic Pain- This class is great for people with chronic pain, those recovering from injury. In this class you always have the option to utilize the comfort and stability of a chair. We explore range of motion, and learn to re-wire the brain to support greater ease in movement. We will explore breath, mindfulness and relaxation exercises to coax the nervous system to support your goals in healing and movement. Exertion level: Very, very gentle.
Please note that all of my public classes for chronic pain have been moved to the Frida Center for Fibromyalgia. Classes are open to the public, all drop-in, and done on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes are now FREE!
We also teach Yoga for Chronic Pain at OHSU's Richmond Clinic. If you are a patient at Richmond Clinic, please ask to be referred to the Integrated Movement Therapy classes (IMT).
