Gentle Yoga - (Tuesdays 7-8.15pm) This is the truly gentle yoga class you've been looking for. Our chief goals for class are mindfulness and gentle connection with the body. Are you injured, inflexible or just uninterested in a competitive yoga class? At Big Yoga Yoga you are unconditionally welcome. We start out with a check-in, to know what to work on. Then we talk about philosophy, work with our breath and bodies, and finally practice deep relaxation. What's not to like? Come check out this little community-based class.

Yoga for Chronic Pain - (Thursdays 10-11.15am)  This class is great for people with chronic pain (like fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome) and those recovering from injury or surgery. Adapting all postures to your particular body, on each particular day, we explore range of motion, and learn to re-wire the brain to support greater ease in movement. We will explore breath, mindfulness and relaxation exercises to coax the nervous system to support your goals in healing and movement. Exertion level: Very gentle.

Gentle Plus Yoga - (Tuesdays 9 - 10.15am, Thursdays 7-8.30pm) This is a mindfulness-based, gentle yoga class. We will start the class with some philosophy discussion, which includes both Yoga and Buddhism concepts. We then explore the breath, making a mindful connection between energy, body and mind. Next, we do gentle stretching work, with some core stabilization work sprinkled in. Finally, we practice deep relaxation. You are unconditionally welcome to this beginner-friendly, all-body types class.

Daily Meditation with Caverly Morgan - Weekdays 8.30-9am - No experience necessary, all are welcome.  Please just make sure to arrive 5 or so minutes early.  We look forward to seeing you there!  For more info, please see: http://www.onehouseofpeace.org/

All classes are taught by teacher and therapist, E.B. Ferdig.  When E.B. is unable to teach a class, substitutes will be teachers trained by the Samarya Center of Seattle, or Paul Grilley.  This will ensure a compassionate approach to you and your individual yoga practice.
